Budget Vote & Board Election - May 21, 2013 

Proposition One: School Budget (Including Bus Purchase) - Shall the following resolution be adopted?

RESOLVED: That the Board of Education of the Belfast Central School District (the “District”) be authorized to expend the sums as set forth in District’s proposed budget for the 2013-14 school year, in the total amount of EIGHT MILLION EIGHT HUNDRED SEVENTY THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN DOLLARS ($8,870,918) (which expenditures shall include funds hereby authorized to be transferred from the District’s Bus Reserve Fund (established in June 2010), in the amount of $93,681, for the acquisition of a sixty-six(66)-passenger school bus for use in the transportation program of the District), and to levy the necessary taxes therefore.

Proposition Two - Belfast Public Library - Shall the following resolution be adopted?

RESOLVED: That the Board of Education of Belfast Central School is hereby authorized to expend the sum of Forty-one Thousand Three Hundred Sixty Dollars ($41,360) as established by the Board of Trustees of the Belfast Public Library, toward the support of the Belfast Public Library during the 2013-2014 School Fiscal Year.

Election of one (1) member to the Belfast Public Library Board of Trustees, Belfast, New York. Expired term of Betty Bunt for five years. Term to expire June 30, 2018. VOTE FOR ONE TBA
